Currently, there are various vegan certifications in the beauty market.
Among those certifications, all of Kaine's products are certified as the EVE VEGAN® by Expertise Vegan Europe (EVE), a French certification body.
The reason why Kaine chose the EVE VEGAN® is that the certification process is thorough throughout the entire process until one product is brought out.
In fact, there are vegan certification bodies which only review the product ingredients. However, the EVE VEGAN® reviews if there are any animal ingredients used as product ingredients and the whole packaging, or possibilities of cross contamination in the factory.
This made the EVE VEGAN® a very demanding certification, but to be a true vegan brand, Kaine insists this certification.
